As summer nears and almost all Swedes go on holidays, the extremely popular local choir, Undersåkerskören, host one last show.
This show is full of bright uplifting music, getting you ready for summer! You could say that it is an "end of the 'choir year' special", since after this show, even the choir goes on summer holidays!
The end of year special.

The unnecessarily difficult photoshoot.
Recently I have been spending a lot of time in Österund, living at my friends place, trying to get some extra work in the city. In splitting my time, and my things over two geographical locations you could say that my life is a bit messy at the moment.
And so, as I packed my bag to go to the show I realized I had left my 100-400mm tele-lens in Östersund... Not exactly a great start to the photoshoot. However I am not one to give up that easily, so I went anyway. After all, I still had two lenses and my drone, so no problem... Right?! Well when I got there my drone-app just wouldn't start on my phone. It would just constantly crash.
Since I had a shotty internet connection, reinstalling the app wasn't an option. So sadl, I had to give up my plan of getting cool drone shots of the church before the show.
At this point I was ready to go home and just give up. However I knew the music would be amazing, and as I stepped inside the summer sun was beaming through the ceiling high windows, perfectly casting light on the choir!
After going outside to catch my breath and making a brand new plan (5 minutes before the show started😅), I decided to calm my nerves and stay.
So I packed away the grounded drone, got my trusty Fujifilm ready and started shooting.
And my oh my was it worth it! Undersåkerskören really knows how to lift your spirit😃

Summary
If you have the chance to attend any of the Undersåkers Choir's concerts, do it! It will put you in a good mood no matter how bad your day may have been before it😅
It's always fun to photograph events, and this time was no different, even if it may not have gone to plan. But that's life, and not having all the gear actually challenged me in a healthy way. I had to be more creative than usual, due to the limitations in flexibility.
So thank you Undersåkerskören for, once again, delivering such an excellent concert.
'Til next time!
Cheers!
