Cold but worth it
On this frigid Saturday, Christoffer, Louise, and I layered up against the cold and headed out for a day on the mountain. It was quite chilly, and we definitely didn't want to stay still for too long. However, we were rewarded with excellent views and great snow conditions.

The people
I usually say that life is as good as the people around you. On this magical day, I was out skiing with Christoffer and Louise from Treeline—two great friends of mine who always bring big smiles and good energy to the slopes.

Stills
Here are a few stills that I captured throughout the day, in the style I originally sought to recreate in editing.

An alternate style
And here are a few of those stills, but edited with my preset "Film simulations for winter Landscapes". I just felt that this preset fit these images perfectly.
I created this preset after I was out shooting winter landscapes with one of my good friends who almost exclusivley shoots on film. My edit isn't inspired by any film in particular, more just the feeling film photography tends to convey.

Summary
It may be cold, but remember that it is always worth it to get out there. Sometimes you will be blessed with an amazing day like this one, and othertimes you will simply be blessed with some fresh air. In my opinion, that makes it worth it regardless of the outcome😄
